ApplyStyle class#

class ApplyStyle(**kwargs)#

Bases: object

Class representing the applying style of the current model to another on the current page, or on a different target page/window in the session.

Parameters:

kwargs (dict) – Attributes of the ApplyStyle object.

apply()#

Method to apply the ApplyStyle options from the source window to specific target windows.

getTarget(windowListOnly: bool = False)#

Method to get the target that has been set for ApplyStyle.

Parameters:

windowListOnly (bool) – If this flag is True then the method returns a list of windows, else a mixed list (windows and pages).

setAllAttributes(option: bool | str = None)#

Method to set different options in the current choice of ApplyStyle attributes.

Parameters:

option (Union[bool, str]) – This value indicates whether we set all the ApplyStyle options equal to True, False or restore them in default settings (“default”) or reverse the current choice (“reverse”).

setAttributes(**kwargs)#

Method to set the ApplyStyle attributes.

kwargs (dict) – Attributes

setTarget(target: str | list | Window | Page = None, checkTarget: bool = True)#

Method to set the target windows or pages for ApplyStyle.

Parameters:
  • target (Union[str,list,win.Window,pg.Page]) – Target of the ApplyStyle tool. It can be a window, a page, a list of windows or pages or a string representing either the current page (“currentPage”) or all pages (“allPages”).

  • checkTarget (bool) – A flag that indicates if ApplyStyle process stops if at least one page inside the target list has no HyperView window. By default is checked if all target pages have at least one HyperView window.

Parameters:
  • type (Union[str, Entity]) – Entity type. Entity can be of Part, Node, or Element.

  • model (Union[Model, int, str]) – Model in which collection is present. Default is the active model.

  • populate (bool) – Populate all entity in collection. Default is True.

addByAdjacent(repeat=1, visible: bool = True)#

Method to add entities to a collection by its adjacent.

Parameters:

visible (bool) – All or displayed entities. Default is True (displayed).

Method to add entities to the collection by the filter. Filter can be an instance of FilterByScalar, FilterBySphere, or FilterByPlane.
