Cutting and extending the lines
Introduction
In order to help the user in the geometry definition, especially to avoid defects in the construction of the lines, some facilities are provided by Flux PEEC. They are available as icons in the toolbar and as commands in the menu .
These four facilities are described in the following blocks:
- cut line on point
- cut two lines at their intersection
- extend line to point
- extend line to line
Cut line on point
To cut a line on a point:

| 1 | In the menu click on the command Cut line on point. |
| → | A dialog box Cut line on point is open. |

Fill in the fields:

Validate the information by clicking on OK |
| → | The line is cut into two. |
Cut two lines at their intersection
To cut two lines at their inters ection:

| 1 | In the menu click on the command Cut two lines at their intersection. |
| → | A dialog box Cut two lines at their intersection is open. |

Fill in the fields:

Validate the information by clicking on OK |
| → | The two lines are cut. |
Extend line to point
To extend a line to a point:

| 1 | In the menu click on the command Extend line to point. |
| → | A dialog box Extend line to point is open. |

Fill in the fields:

| → | The line is extended. |
Extend line to line
To extend a line to another line:
