Cut a geometric object

To cut a geometric object:

Step Action

Open the dialog box:

  • click on the icon: or
  • in the Tools menu, click on Cut geometric objects
→ The dialog box Select cut plane is opened.

To cut one or several geometric objects:

  • select the object(s) to cut
  • select the cut plane to be used

Confirm: by clicking on

→

Cutting sheets are created at the places where the objects can be cut.

The dialog box Select cutting sheets is opened.

To continue the cutting of the geometric object(s):

  • select the desired cutting sheets
  • choose a name for the objects that will be created after the cutting

Confirm by clicking on OK
→ The new objects are created as a result of the cutting.
