Sketching
Create and edit a 2D sketch curve. A sketch curve is any "wire" entity such as a line, rectangle, circle, or arc.
- New Sketch
  Start a new sketch and select a sketch plane.
- Change the Sketch Plane
  Change the sketch plane of an existing sketch curve.
- Sketch Constraints
  Apply geometric relationships such as tangency and perpendicularity to sketch curves.
- 3D Sketching
  Create a 3D sketch.
- Import Entities
  Import geometry that was not created using a sketching tool by projecting it onto a sketch plane as construction geometry.
- Points/Lines
  Sketch and edit a point, line, polyline, or line-arc.

- Transform
  Translate or rotate sketch entities.
- Trim/Divide
  Trim or divide a sketch curve.
- Extend
  Extend or shorten an entity of a sketch curve.
- Fillet
  Round the corners of 2D sketch curves to create fillets with the same radius or different radii.
- Offset/Mirror
  Offset or mirror a sketch curve.

  Create a linear or circular pattern of sketch entities.
Curves
Create and edit 3D curves by extending, rebuilding, intersecting, splitting, and projecting the shapes.

In Inspire Studio you can animate an object or group and the camera. There are two methods of animation: key frame animation and path animation.

Create a draw die in Inspire Studio that you can export to Inspire Form to perform a stamping simulation.

Trim/Divide

Trim or divide a sketch curve.

Trim

Remove one or more entities of a sketch curve.

On the ribbon, click the Sketching tab.
In the Trim/Split group, click the Trim icon.
Do one of the following:
- Click the entity you want to remove.
- Drag to draw a free-form line through the entities you want to remove.
Note: This tool does not currently work on Splines.
Right-click and mouse through the check mark to exit, or double-right-click.

Divide

Divide an entity of a sketch curve at a selected point.

On the ribbon, click the Sketching tab.
In the Trim/Divide group, click the Divide icon.
Click an entity to select it.

Note: This tool does not currently work on Splines.
Hover the mouse over the entity to preview the division point, and then click to place the division point.
You automatically snap to intersection points, even if snapping to intersections is disabled.
Right-click and mouse through the check mark to exit, or double-right-click.
