The release notes provides details about the new features and enhancements in Altair Drive Desktop 2025.0.

Improved User Experience

The Altair Drive Desktop application now features a refreshed user interface with a cleaner, more intuitive design that aligns with Altair’s visual style. The application layout is reorganized to improve the usability for the user, the Profile and Logs are moved under Settings Tab for simpler and streamlined experience.

Sync Status Icons in File Explorer

With the newly added sync icons, you can now easily track the status of your files at a glance in Windows File Explorer. This feature is available on both Windows and Linux systems.

The newly added icons and its status indicates:

Spinning Sync Icon : Files are actively synching either uploading to the cloud or downloading to your device.
Green Check mark Icon : Files are fully synched and up to date.
