JOINTD

I/O Options EntryOutput request. The JOINTD command can be used in the I/O Options section to request output of JOINTG Displacement.

Format

Definitions

Argument Options Description

Default = H3D
H3D
Results are output in Hyper3D format (.h3d file).
OPTI
Results are output in OptiStruct results format (.joint file).
option <YES, ALL, NO>

Default = ALL
YES, ALL
Displacement results are output for all JOINTG elements in the model.
NO
Displacement results are not output for JOINTG elements in the model.

Comments

  1. JOINTD output is only available in the .h3d, _impl.h3d, _expl.h3d, and .joint file. It is currently supported for all solutions for which JOINTG elements are supported.
  2. JOINTD output consists of JOINTG Displacement results.
  3. JOINTD results are not output by default for any analysis type; if JOINTG displacement results are expected, the JOINTD entry should be specified in the model.
  4. JOINTD output is printed in its own separate label in the H3D file: JOINTG Displacement (1D) (s).
