  - Coarsen Mesh
    Simplify a mesh by combining many small elements into a smaller number of larger ones.
  - Acoustic Cavity Meshing for Interior Noise
    Acoustic cavity meshing for interior noise generates a fluid volume mesh used to calculate the acoustic modes (or standing waves) inside the air spaces of a vehicle or similarly enclosed structural model.

    Acoustic cavity meshing for exterior noise generates a fluid volume mesh and boundary mesh used to calculate the acoustic modes, or standing waves, in the external air spaces of a powertrain, e-motor or similarly enclosed structural model.

High frequency NVH is an implementation of Statistical Energy Analysis (SEA), and is used to predict and analyze the vibration and acoustic response of complex dynamic systems.

Macros

Use the Macros tool to access pre-defined macros packaged with the NVH solution and also user-defined macros.

From the NVH Tools ribbon, click the Macros tool.

Pre-defined macros are available in the Predefined tab.

User-defined macros can be added/removed in the Userdefined tab.

Add and delete options are available in the context menu. The selected macro fetches the design variables from the model property database and exports them to the FE input solver deck.
