Sketching
Create and edit a 2D sketch curve. A sketch curve is any "wire" entity such as a line, rectangle, circle, or arc.
Curves
Create and edit 3D curves by extending, rebuilding, intersecting, splitting, and projecting the shapes.

Create and edit 3D surfaces and solids by creating primitives or editing existing curves and surfaces.

Create detailed 2D drawings of the selected parts of a complex 3D model from multiple perspectives.
Rendering
Adjust the materials, environment, and properties of objects in the scene to create a photorealistic image.
Animation
In Inspire Studio you can animate an object or group and the camera. There are two methods of animation: key frame animation and path animation.
- Key Frame Animation
  A key frame is a frozen image in the sequence of an animation. Each "key" frame shows the transformation of an object. The remaining frames, known as “in betweens,” are figured out automatically by Inspire Studio. When you play all of the frames together, you have a simple animation.
- Path Animation
  Animate an object as it moves along a path. You can also combine key frame animation with path animation to move the camera as well as the object.
- Rotation on Axis
  Animate an object as it rotates along a selected axis for a set number of turns.
- Animation Timeline
  Explore the features and options on the animation timeline.
- Animation Options
  Adjust the animation settings.
- Render an Animation
  You can render the entire scene or selected objects (with materials) as one image file, render the desired animation frames (with materials) as .png files, or render the entire animation (without materials) as a .mp4 file.
- Altair® EDEM™ Support
  Import EDEM files and merge with MotionSolve models to edit and create fully rendered animations in both real-time and full rendering.
- Animation Mode
  Edit object animations with the animation timeline.
- Animate Objects
  After running a simulation in another HyperWorks application, you can export a .h3d or .h5 file with animated objects. You can then open the file in Inspire Studio and use the Animate Objects tool to quickly render a looped animation.

Animation Options

On the Animation tab, select the Animation Options tool.


Option	Description
FPS	Define the number of frames that are will be played per second.
Total time	Define the total length of the animation in seconds.
