Create Mass and Volume Responses
Use the Mass/Volume tool to create mass or volume responses. The resulting response is the mass or volume of the entire model or the mass of an individual property or material.
Restriction: Volume responses are only available for the OptiStruct profile.

From the Design Explorer ribbon, click the Mass/Volume
tool.

- From the guide bar, select the response type.
- Optional:
Select a single property, material, or element if using the OptiStruct profile.
Note: When a mass response is requested by property or material for the entire model, it is evaluated based on the solver output. When it is requested by element, it is evaluated using the HyperMesh model.
- Optional:
In the microdialog, select
Objective or Constraint to
simultaneously create one.
Note: You can continue to define the constraint in the microdialog.

to create the response.
