AMDC Release Notes 2025.2

The release notes provide details about the new features and enhancements in AMDC 2025.2

Material Data

  • New and Updated Materials: More than 670 new and updated materials have been added to the database. This includes new materials with electromagnetic data from Fair-Rite and new & updated polymer data from several producers like SL Recycling, Trivalence, Wacker and more.

  • More data for CAE: With the new data update, more materials are now available for low frequency electromagnetic simulations with Flux. Simulation ready data for Squeak and Rattle can now be downloaded for over 18,000 material pairs.

AMDC Software Enhancements

  • Materials Copilot - Beta: Find materials easily with an interactive, AI powered chat assistant that understands complex queries in different languages. The capability of Materials Copilot to recognize and process user inputs and summarize the response with follow up actions makes it a very powerful tool in finding not only the right materials but also equivalent materials that may be of interest.
  • Export Interface for Squeak and Rattle Director: An intuitive user interface to export data for Squeak and Rattle Director is now available. The tool can be accessed from Stick-Slip Database in AMDC and allows users to export pairs of material data with stick-slip tests data. This can be used to predict and thereby arrest any noise that may arise due to stick-slip phenomena.
  • Improved Scatter Plot: Data points in the Scatter Plot can now be colored by material type. In Private Databases it possible to customize the colors.
