- Launch SMDC
  Simcenter Material Data Center is a web-based tool accessible through all leading browsers. Launch the application to access the material data. You can customize and launch the application from Favorite Apps, on the Altair One Home page.
- SMDC Licenses
  SMDC provides license types such as Guest User, Viewer, Explorer, and ExplorerPlus. These are supported by Named User Licenses and Altair Units-based License models.
- Stick-Slip Material Database
  The Stick-Slip Database provides access to over 11,000 individual measurements covering a wide range of common materials available on the market.
- Integrated Desktop Applications
  Get instant access to an exhaustive database with thousands of simulation ready materials directly from within Altair desktop applications!     This chapter guides you how to launch and use the Authoring Tools in SMDC. It explains where to find these tools on the viewer page and the permissions you need to access them.

    Add material data using Data Edit and Import Materials functionalities on Admin Dashboard.
