Figure 3. Landing Page
The landing page helps engineers, designers, and scientists easily find the right materials, improve product performance, and create more sustainable designs.- Explore All Material Classes: Browse a vast collection of materials across multiple-domains with supplier-provided properties, streamlining product development from concept design to final validation.
- Simulation-ready Materials: Access accurate material data tailored for simulation-driven design, The data includes ready-to-use solver cards compatible with leading CAE tools. It supports a variety of applications, including electromagnetics, structural analysis, crash simulations, and manufacturing processes. The material data integrates seamlessly with industry-standard simulation and optimization tools.
- Eco-Friendly Materials Discover sustainable materials like biopolymers and recycled materials that help reduce environmental impact. It provides information on carbon footprint and ecological impact throughout the material's life cycle. It also offers full traceability to material producers for compliance and procurement.
- Stick-Slip Database: Prevent noise and friction issues in product design. Identify suitable material pairings with Good, Medium, or Poor compatibility ratings. Minimize stick-slip effects that cause squeaks, rattles, and other unwanted noises. Quickly access material properties using predefined categories.
- Quick Search for a specific set of materials using a string value.
- Instant Access to Material Datasets access thousands of simulation-ready material datasets for multi physics applications. Supports multiple simulation domains from electro-magnetics to manufacturing simulations. Use the required CAE discipline tile to instantly access the specific type of materials you need.
- News and Updates provides information on the latest product release details, including access to newly added materials and the latest release notes of AMDC.
- Partners and Suppliers displays the key partners of AMDC, ensuring high-quality materials directly sourced from manufacturers and Altair’s data partners.
