- Launch AMDC
  Altair Material Data Center is a web-based tool accessible through all leading browsers. Launch the application to access the Altair material data. You can customize and launch the application from Favorite Apps, on the Altair One Home page.
- AMDC Licenses
  AMDC provides license types such as Guest User, Viewer, Explorer, and ExplorerPlus. These are supported by Named User Licenses and Altair Units-based License models.
- Stick-Slip Material Database
  The Stick-Slip Database provides access to over 11,000 individual measurements covering a wide range of common materials available on the market.
- Integrated Desktop Applications
  Get instant access to an exhaustive database with thousands of simulation ready materials directly from within Altair desktop applications! This seamless integration automatically lists materials suitable for the application and lets users look up, search, compare and download CAE-ready material cards directly in the software.

- Search Materials
  Search a material or a list of materials using quick search, advanced search or scatter plots.
  - Quick Search
    Quick Search helps you find materials instantly by typing a material name, type, characterisitics, or property. AMDC suggests matching entries and supports property-based filtering using value ranges for more precise results.
  - Advanced Search
    Advanced Search allows you to build a search query by combining multiple search criteria. Use filters to find properties and define value ranges. You can also add filters such as availability of plots, certifications or regional availability to quickly find relevant materials.
  - View Scatter Plot
    Visualize the correlation and interdependency between two properties data. The independent property data is plotted on X-axis while the dependent property data is plotted in Y-axis.
- Compare Materials
  Select one or more materials to compare the chosen materials data.
- Filter Materials
  Browse and filter materials using the predefined categories as filters in the left navigation pane that most suit your requirements.
- Similar Materials
  Find similar materials in terms of mechanical, thermal, or electrical properties.
- View Material Details
  Visualize advanced and accurate material properties and curves. Also, view material impact using Global Warming Potential (GWP) and set your data preferences.
- Export Material Data
  Export material data sheets with plots as a PDF and CAE simulation-ready material cards to your workstation or Altair Drive.
- Share Material Data
  Share material information in an email, document or message. Recipients of the link can view the material information in AMDC.

  Customize the materials data in table view. Add, remove material properties as table columns, reorder the columns, and sort them.

Quick Search

Quick Search helps you find materials instantly by typing a material name, type, characterisitics, or property. AMDC suggests matching entries and supports property-based filtering using value ranges for more precise results.

You can:

Enter a part of material name, material type, characteristics, or property keywords. For example: DC0, Tensile Strength
Modify the specified search terms to include property value ranges
Edit the specified search text to refine your results

Begin typing a search term such as material name, type, or property in the Quick Search box.
AMDC displays real-time intelligent suggestions as you type.
Choose one of the following:
- Select one of the intelligent suggestions from the list.
- Press Enter.

Note: To clear the search field, click located to the right of the search term.
You can edit your search term to filter your search result.
1. Click the Edit icon next to the search term.
2. Update your search input and press Enter.

Enter material property name to find materials containing the specific property and then click Enter.
A list of matching materials is displayed.

You can refine your search result by specifying specific property values for a material property.
1. Click the Edit icon next to the search term.
2. Enter the required material property range and press Enter.
