- Launch AMDC
  Altair Material Data Center is a web-based tool accessible through all leading browsers. Launch the application to access the Altair material data. You can customize and launch the application from Favorite Apps, on the Altair One Home page.
- AMDC Licenses
  AMDC provides license types such as Guest User, Viewer, Explorer, and ExplorerPlus. These are supported by Named User Licenses and Altair Units-based License models.

    Review material data and publish or unpublish it to the database.
  - Create New Material Metadata
    Add new metadata elements such as Material Type, Provider, Producer, Property, and Plot to define and organize material data in the database.
    - Search Material Metadata
      Search the catalog for existing material metadata such as properties, plots, types, producers, or providers.
    - Add a New Material Type
      Add a new material type to the database.
    - Add a New Material Provider
      You can add new material provider to the database.
    - Add a New Material Producer
      Add new material producer to the database.
    - Add a New Material Property
      Add a new single-point material property (e.g., Density, Thermal Conductivity, Young’s Modulus, Poisson's Ratio) to the database.
    - Add a New Material Plot
      Add a new multi-point material property (e.g., Stress-Strain plot) to the database.
  - Data Edit
    Administrators can preview, edit, add, delete, copy, and clone single-data, multi-data, plot data, numerical model values, and features of a material.
  - Customize Views
    Modify the properties displayed in material tiles and tables. You can add, remove, or reorder property fields shown on the material tile (rows) and in the table view (columns) to suit your display preferences.

Search Material Metadata

Search the catalog for existing material metadata such as properties, plots, types, producers, or providers.

On the Admin Dashboard, open Catalog Edit.
Click the catalog name next to the search bar, to toggle between the Base Catalog and Application Catalog.
In the search bar at the top, enter the name of a material property, plot, material type, producer, or provider.

The matching items in the search dropdown list is displayed.
