FE Geometry

Meshing

Enhancements

Performance: Performance of the Rebuild tool in large models is now 30% - 50% faster. Some examples include: FE geometry topology operations, box trim, cut hole, Bead tool, and many more.; Performance of the general meshing tools in large models is now 40% - 65% faster.
Topology: Cleanup Tolerance Preference: The Automatic and Manual options have been removed.; Recalculate options have been added to automatically compute the tolerance based on the model size.
Features: FE geometry support has been added for flange detection.; Feature detection now identifies flanges on FE geometry as geometry features.; The Feature Manager dialog has been removed, and all functions have been transferred to the Features Browser.
Split/Stitch Tool: A new option has been added to split an FE geometry solid or surface using elements.; An option has been added to split an FE geometry solid using an FE edge.
